Derek Lamont Anderson (born July 18, 1974 in Louisville, Kentucky) is a sales person basketball streaming video player for the NBA. He is presently the Houston Rocket when of August 21 2005. He has played virtually all of his NBA career for the Portland Trail Blazers. In August 3 2005 he was waived by the Trail Blazers using the therefore-supposed "tax amnesty clause" of the NBA collective bargaining agreement. Anderson occurs as graduate of Doss High School and was a Kentucky a lot-star. Anderson played college basketball at Ohio State University and the University of Kentucky. Witharound 1996, Anderson helped win a NCAA Championship by owning Kentucky, in which he graduated in 1997. He was 1st selected per Cleveland Cavaliers as the Thirteenth overall pick to the 1997 NBA Draft, despite missing much of his 2nd senior year at Kentucky due to the torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). He played for Cleveland from either 1997-1999. His NBA career has been plagued by injuries. withinside the 2004-Five year he just played in Viii of the final 42 games for the Trail Blazers, & has missed similar many games in anterior seasons.
